- After this film was released and perceived as a box office bomb, it prompted Warner Bros. to sell the rights to the Lego movie franchise to Universal Pictures.
- Jason Momoa voices Aquaman, whom he plays in the live action DC films.
- Velma from Scooby-Doo makes a cameo in the movie!
- The film is dedicated to Charie Miller, producer Christopher Miller’s mother who sadly passed away before the sequel was released.
- Daniel Radcliffe was originally going to voice a Harry Potter inspired character named ‘Larry Potter’ but this role ended up being cut from the film.
