Fun Facts

• The film is based on the 2008 novel of the same name by Garth Stein.
• Universal Pictures originally had the rights to the film in 2009, just a year about the novel was published but the project never went into development and Disney bought the rights off them in 2016. By 2017, the film was with 20th Century Fox and was finally in production.
• Filming took place between April 2018 and July 2018.
