The major spoiler in the latest trailer for ‘No Time to Die’
No Time to Die was the first film to be postponed due to COVID-19. Originally scheduled for release just before lockdown, it remains one of the most anticipated blockbusters of 2020!
It’s Daniel Craig’s last take as James Bond, so the excitement for #Bond25 is real. And the latest trailer may have just dropped a major spoiler for the future of 007…
During the trailer in English (at 0:58 seconds, to be exact) you can overhear Bond say “I met your new Double-O” as the scene switches to a shot of Lashana Lynch’s character. But in the international trailers, dubbed in Spanish and Italian, it’s rumoured that “I met your new 007” is overheard instead!
It’s been long-rumoured that newcomer Lashana Lynch could be taking over as 007 in future instalments, so if this trailer hints anything, it could be a nod to just that! Whilst we don’t know for sure if this one is totally true, it would be kinda cool to see the next Bond be a woman and be introduced in Bond 25. Lynch plays the ’00-agent’ Nomi, who enters service under MI6 following Bond’s retirement in No Time to Die.
Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
